Chord Loop

Four chords. Tempo. Play.

A practice loop for musicians. Type in a progression, set a tempo, and it plays in time, over and over, until the changes are under your fingers. No account, no song library, nothing to set up.

What it does

Loops a progression at an exact tempo, with a count-in and a metronome.
Shows the current chord and the next one, with beat dots.
Reads a chart you photograph or paste, and turns each verse, chorus and bridge into its own loop.
Connects to Planning Center Services so you can practice the songs you are scheduled for, in the key they are assigned in.

Connecting Planning Center

Chord Loop asks Planning Center for read-only access to Services, and nothing else. Your password is typed on Planning Center's own sign-in page and is never seen by this app.

You can switch that access off at any time from your own Planning Center account, under Authorized Apps. Chord Loop cannot change anything in your church's Planning Center account.

Privacy

Chord Loop has no user accounts and no server of its own. Your schedule and your charts go straight from Planning Center to your device. They are not sent anywhere else and they are not stored by us, because there is no "us" in the path to store them.

When it reads a chart you photograph, it keeps the chords, the bar counts and the section shape. It deliberately does not read or keep song titles, artist names or lyrics, and the photograph never leaves your device.
